Overview

LLM Hardware Guide does not track you. It runs no analytics, sets no cookies, shows no ads, and has no accounts or forms. This page lists everything the site does that touches your data, so you can check it.

Analytics and cookies

The site has no analytics script. The site configuration has analytics switched off, and no tracking code is added to the pages. The site sets no cookies.

Requests to other companies

A page on this site loads its HTML, stylesheet, scripts, fonts, and images from llmhardwareguide.com only. The fonts are copied to this domain when the site is built, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any font service. No page loads an ad network, a social media widget, or an embedded video.

One exception is built into the site software and is not in use. The page script contains a diagram renderer that downloads its code from cdnjs.cloudflare.com, but only on a page that contains a diagram. No page on the site contains one today. If one is added, this page will say so.

Links to other sites, such as GPU vendor spec pages, model cards, and the sister site LLM for Mac, only contact that site if you click them. The footer link to Google’s preferred-source setting is a plain link with the same rule.

What your browser stores

The site saves three settings in your own browser’s storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to anyone.

  • theme: whether you chose the light or dark color scheme.
  • fileTree: which folders in the page explorer are open or closed.
  • explorerScrollTop: the explorer’s scroll position, kept in session storage and cleared when you close the tab.

You can clear these at any time in your browser’s site-data settings. The site works the same without them.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. When your browser requests a page, GitHub receives the request, including your IP address, as any web host does. GitHub states that it may log IP addresses for security purposes. Its General Privacy Statement covers that data. The editors of this site do not receive those logs.

Email

If you email editors@llmhardwareguide.com, your message and address are used only to reply to you. They are not added to a mailing list or shared. contact says what to send.

Changes to this page

If the site adds anything that changes the list above, this page is updated first and its last_updated date changes.
